Mathematics grade 7, with NVO preparation

From rational numbers to a full mock exam, with a clear view of where your child still struggles.

88 lessons · €12,96/month · the first 14 days are free

This course is for your child if they:

  • are in grade 7, with the NVO ahead (the national external assessment after grade 7, whose score decides which secondary school they can enter);
  • have gaps from grades 5 and 6 that nobody has filled;
  • get good marks at school, but the mock exams tell a different story.

It is not for you if you are looking for preparation in Bulgarian language and literature only. There is a separate course for that: Bulgarian language and literature, grade 7.

Островът на математиката: каменна обсерватория над тюркоазено нощно море, кристали по брега.

In grade 7, the gaps from grade 5 all surface at once

There is a lot of material and it moves fast. If your child gets stuck in one place, the lessons that follow build on something they did not understand, and the distance grows on its own.

Then the first mock exam comes, and the number does not match the school marks.

38.45 out of 100 points: the average maths score at the NVO after grade 7, 2026.Ministry of Education (МОН), NVO results, announced on 30 June 2026.

88 lessons in 5 sections

  1. 1Rational numbers
  2. 2Integer expressions
  3. 3Polynomials
  4. 4Equations
  5. 5Geometry and NVO preparation

Lessons that run over two sittings are marked Part 1 / Part 2. That is how your child meets them in the platform.

A lantern-lit path with stone steps through the night forest to a tower on a hill under the stars.

The lessons are not watched. They are worked through.

Every lesson is short and has one goal. The tasks ask for an answer, not for recognition: matching, gap-filling, ordering, dragging an answer into place, choosing words inside a text, free response.

Every explanation is voiced and can be heard again, as many times as needed.

What your child can do by the end of the course

  • Solves the exam-format tasks, not only the textbook exercises.

  • Recognises which type of task they are looking at before starting to solve it.

  • Knows which topics come easily and which do not, because they have seen it written down.

  • Sits down for their lesson every day on their own, without being pushed.

  • Walks into the exam room having already sat a full mock exam.

An unrolled scroll with a map of a path through the forest, on a stone table under a lantern, among the roots of the Tree of Knowledge at night.

Eighty-eight lessons is a long road

That is why the lesson happens in the world of Intreea, alongside six children your child's own age. The world is not decoration on top of the lesson. It is the reason your child opens the platform on day seventy, not only on day three.

You see the same thing the teacher sees

The parent profile shows your child's progress by section, not as one overall mark. A gap has the name of a section.

  • Readiness by section. Which section is mastered and which is not.
  • Mastery, with clear thresholds. Excellent above 85%, good between 70 and 85%, unsteady between 50 and 70%, struggling below 50%.
  • Mastery and coverage, separately. How much of the material has been covered, and how much of it has been understood. These are not the same number.
  • Activity history. When your child studied and what they submitted.
  • Skills: at the start and now. Calculation · Working with expressions · Logical thinking · Modelling · Geometric intuition · Accuracy.

Questions about the course

Does it cover the whole NVO?

The maths, yes. For Bulgarian language and literature there is a separate grade 7 course, with preparation for the exam.

My child is in grade 6. Is there any point starting now?

Yes, if the aim is to fill gaps. The course follows the grade 7 syllabus and starts from where your child is.

Does it replace a private tutor?

We do not promise that. It replaces the repetition and consolidation there is no time for in class, and shows you where your child still struggles.

How much time a day?

One short lesson a day, with a clear start and end. How long it takes depends on the child.

The exam is in June. The gaps are from grade 5.

The first 14 days are free. Enough to see whether your child sits down on their own.
